About OmiseGo
First conceptualized by Joseph Poon in 2017, OmiseGO (OMG) aims to solve the woeful state of the payments infrastructure in South-East Asia.
At its core, OmiseGO is about interoperability; trying to open up the disparate payment networks in the region. In order to achieve interoperability, OmiseGO uses Plasma and Child Chains to achieve the vast scale required to record transactions on multiple networks and blockchains.
