Aeternity

Aeternity (AE) is a new type of blockchain which aims to solve many of the problems which have dogged conventional blockchains for years. One key feature is called State Channels, which enable smart contracts to be executed off-chain.

Another interesting aspect of Aeternity are the Oracles, a new way of connecting the world’s data with smart contracts. Finally, Aeternity is governed by its stakeholders, giving miners and token-holders the ability to participate in the development of the project.
